Hey! My name is Chris Ruetten and welcome to my photography website. I am creative photographer based in New York City originally from San Diego, CA with 10 years of professional experience. My photography work is as diverse at the city itself. I have shot New York Fashion Week, Broadway shows and stars, famous Plastic Surgeons, Weddings, Influencers, Concerts, Restaurants, and have worked with brands such as Supergoop, L'Oréal, Bucherer, and B&W. Every day is a like field trip; jobs have taken me to the NASDAQ, the Met Cloisters, the Hamptons, Birdland Jazz Club, Fire Island, Brooklyn, and more! I am committed to capturing beautiful moments enhanced by my signature post production process. Below are the highlights of my work. I hope we can work together soon!
Backstage photography at Spring Studios hired by Viseart to capture make-up artists and models in action. There is nothing like the energy backstage at a NYFW show. Photos included are from three different shows.
Supergoop is a prestige sunscreen and SPF brand that I have been able to work with in several capacitites.
From shooting their influencer events to their merchandised products, I have been able to support a company that creates high-quality products that I use everday.
Since the summer of 2020, I have worked with the Neinstein Plastic Surgery and the Neinstein family to provide them elegant images used for ads in magazines, social media content, and office/home physical prints that enhance their professional brand and lives. My work for them has been featured in Hamptons Magazine, GLAMOUR, Haute Beauty, Palm Beach Magazine, and more.
Today Tix partnered with Tavern On The Green to bring Broadway talent to the cabaret setting. I had to opportunity to shoot Max Von Essen, Ana Villafañe, and Eric Bergen who all delivered unforgettable performances under the stars.
